Dr. Rahman Ilkhani

Dr. Rahman Ilkhani, M.D., the Medical Director of Vein Clinic of New York, is a Board Certified  Surgeon.    He is certified by the American Board of Surgery.

Dr. Ilkhani completed his fellowship in Vascular Surgery at the Texas Heart Institute in Houston, TX, under pioneering cardiovascular surgeon Dr. Denton A. Cooley.   After completing his fellowship, Dr. Ilkhani returned to New York, where has been a practicing vascular surgeon for over 25 years and has been an educator and leader at several major teaching hospitals, teaching medical students and residents in the field of vascular surgery.     

Dr. Ilkhani is a member of the American College of Surgeons, the International Society of Vascular Surgery, the International Society of Endovascular Therapy and the Denton A. Cooley Cardiovascular Surgical Society.  

Dr. Ilkhani's vision has always been to provide quality compassionate appropriate and evidence based care to his patients with minimal discomfort and a special attention to patient's comfort, wishes and preferences.

At the Vein Clinic of New York, Dr. Ilkhani leads a group of dedicated, skillful and compassionate staff.  Physician assistants, nurses and technicians are all trained in the vascular field and have significant experience in the diagnosis and treatment of venous disorders, including varicose and spider veins.
